About Us
Gemini Catering Equipment
& Uniforms has come a long way since our early days in 1979
when we opened our original home based business supplying chef’s
uniforms and knives. After many years of hard work and service second
to none, the business has bloomed into a shopping haven for the hospitality,
bakery and meat works industries covering just about everything the professional
tradesperson could need. With the range of products expanding
in excess of 15,000 lines , it was necessary to move to our current
premises of over 700sqm in Pultney Street, Dandenong.
At Gemini Catering Equipment & Uniforms we have become one of the
largest retailers of chefs clothing and equipment in the country.
Available are such brands as Aussie Chef, Chef Clothing Revival, Chef
Works, Club Chef and many more. The variety of clothing available is vast
and very competitively priced. Chefs and bakers jackets, trousers, T-shirts,
polo shirts, hats, caps, bandanas, aprons, footwear and a large choice
of button colours are just a few of the clothing products available.
Our range of quality goods includes refrigerated display units
from Orford, counter top appliances include Roband and Woodson, combi-ovens
and ranges from Garland, commercial mixers from the Hobart, Brice and
Robot Coupe stables, food preparation equipment from Robot Coupe and Halde
plus commercial and domestic mixers from Kitchenaid. Also offered are
popular domestic and commercial ranges of cookware, glassware, and white
ware from Chefinox, Anolon, Tefal, Le Chasseur, Libbey and Duraceram.
These are all on display for the perusal of new and existing customers.
Gemini Catering Equipment & Uniforms arguably hosts Australia’s
most diverse range of professional knives including Dexter Russell
knives from the famous Green River works in the USA. Additional brands
include the superb Shun knives, Wusthof Trident, F. Dick, Wenger, Victorinox,
Icel Zanger, Swibo, Sanelli, Furi, Global, Mundial, Andre Verdier and
Anolon to name a few.
With a trained and dedicated staff of eight personnel, having a combined
total of over 100 years experience in customer service, each having specialized
knowledge in different areas of the industry and with the motto
“everything from a toothpick to a cool room”, it
is believed that Gemini Catering Equipment & Uniforms is fast becoming
a “one stop shop” for anything that is required by
